Terms of Use

These terms cover every app published under Avalaunch Games - including Offline Game Box, The Hobbyist, Parlour Puzzles, and any future apps we ship under the same name. By downloading or using one of our apps, you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country to form a binding contract online, whichever is higher) to agree to these terms. If you’re under that age, an adult parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf.

The app, in plain language

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to install and use our apps on devices you own or control, for your own personal enjoyment. You may not resell the app, redistribute it, or reverse-engineer it beyond what local law specifically allows.

If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies. Where these terms and Apple’s EULA disagree, Apple’s EULA wins.

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• Use the app for anything illegal, or to harm anyone.
• Try to disrupt the app, the App Store, or our website - including by stripping ads, bypassing in-app purchases, or messing with stored data to claim purchases you haven’t made.
• Pretend to be us, or claim our apps are yours.
• Scrape, copy, or republish the app’s content (game assets, art, copy) without permission.

In-app purchases

Some of our apps offer in-app purchases - one-time unlocks (game variants, adventures, level packs, ad removal) and, in some cases, future subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We don’t see your payment details.

Once-off purchases are tied to your Apple ID. You can restore previous purchases on a new device by signing in with the same Apple ID and using the “Restore Purchases” button in the app’s settings.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Some of our apps offer auto-renewable subscriptions. Offline Game Box includes the All Access Cozy Pass, available as a monthly or yearly plan with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period through your Apple ID and is charged at the price shown on the purchase screen at the time you subscribe. To avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the next period ends. You can manage or cancel any subscription at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period. The yearly plan keeps ads removed permanently, even after the subscription lapses.

Pricing and content changes

Our apps are evolving, and we reserve the right to change pricing, run promotions, and adjust which content is free vs. paid at any time. That means we may:

• Raise or lower the price of any in-app purchase going forward.
• Make previously paid content free - including content you may have already purchased - without offering refunds for the prior purchase.
• Move content that was previously included for free behind a one-time purchase or, if we ever introduce one, a subscription. Anything you’ve already unlocked under your Apple ID stays yours.
• Add, retire, rebundle, or reorganise our in-app purchase offerings as the catalog grows.

Purchases you’ve already completed remain tied to your Apple ID and restorable on any device signed in with it. Pricing changes only apply to purchases made after the change takes effect, and refund requests for App Store purchases go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Ads

Some of our apps display ads. We use Google AdMob to serve them. These ads are not endorsements of the products advertised, and we don’t control the specific ads shown to you - the ad network does. If you’d rather not see ads at all, most of our apps offer a one-time “Remove Ads” purchase, and the All Access Cozy Pass subscription also removes ads while active (with the yearly plan keeping them off permanently).

Your content (feedback & bug reports)

If you send us a bug report, feedback, or a feature suggestion, you give us permission to read it, reply, and act on it. We won’t publish your message without permission, but if your suggestion ends up shaping a feature, we’re not obligated to credit or compensate you for the idea itself.

Updates and availability

We may update, change, or retire features in our apps over time. We try not to break things you care about, but small apps evolve, and we won’t guarantee that any particular feature, variant, or level pack stays available forever. The App Store will tell you if an app has been removed or replaced.

No warranty

We make these apps with care, but they’re provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We can’t guarantee the apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what your local consumer law requires us to guarantee.

Limit of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Avalaunch Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our apps. Where local law gives you stronger rights as a consumer - including statutory warranties - those rights are not affected by this clause.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or our apps will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, except where local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own jurisdiction.

Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These terms, together with Apple’s End User Licence Agreement where it applies, are the entire agreement between you and Avalaunch Games regarding your use of our apps and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use our apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
